Notably, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Delhi Capitals, SRH displayed electrifying cricket, amassing 266/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Their explosive start, accumulating 125 runs in the powerplay alone, reflected their sheer dominance and solid batting prowess throughout the tournament.
After watching that dazzling display, former Pakistani player Wasim Akram made a remark. He said, “Thank God, I am not playing cricket in this era. I mean they are scoring 270 in 20 overs. It’s like 450 or 500 in a 50-over game. If it happened once, it was okay, but this has happened three-four times, which shows how strong the batting is. It is illegal to score 100 runs in 5 overs. How can this happen? Even if you bowl full-tosses, it is tough to do it. For bowlers, it has become like take money and get destroyed here. I feel for the bowlers in this format.”

In the auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad purchased Heinrich Klaasen with a whopping amount of 5.25 crore. Since the beginning of IPL 2024, Klaasen Shwcased his brilliance. In the inaugural match of them against Kolkata Knight Riders, he played an exciting knock of 63 runs only in 29 balls. He showcased his masterclass against Mumbai Indians. He played an exceptional unbeaten knock of 80 runs only in 34 balls. He continued his exceptional form in this tournament till now.
After the dazzling display in the tournament, Wasim Akram praised him as his ‘favorite player’. Akram Said, “Heinrich Klaasen is one of my favorite players in the world if you talk about white-ball cricket. His ability to hit sixes is incredible. Abdul Samad is doing a good job as a finisher.
