Tristan Stubbs
At the first SA20 player auction, which was conducted in Cape Town on September 19, Tristan Stubbs, who made his T20I debut against India at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in 2022, received the highest bid of Rand 9.2 million.
Stubbs has amassed 784 runs in 34 T20s with a strike rate of 160.65 and an average of 30.15, which are remarkable totals for a T20 player. The right-handed batsman has four fifty-scores to his credit but hasn’t reached 100 runs yet. Stubbs was instrumental in Eastern Cape Town’s first-ever SA20 League championship.
