At the IPL 2023 big auction, Mumbai Indians paid a staggering amount of Rs 16.5 crore to recruit Green, an Australian all-rounder who would likely replace the famous Kieron Pollard, who announced his retirement before the auction. Although Green has only played in seven T20 Internationals, his performance in a T20 International series against India convinced Australian selectors to include him in the team for the T20 World Cup in 2022. He can bowl consistently over 140 KPH and get the new ball to swing both ways. The tall Australian all rounder has got a golden arm and always picks crucial wickets for the side.
