Tilak Varma
One of the few bright spots for the Mumbai Indians team last year was Tilak Varma. The second-most runs scored by a Mumbai Indians batsman, he scored 397 runs in the tournament. In five games at the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 180 runs and claimed four wickets. He had a strike rate of 147.26 runs per game and scored 215 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Competition the year before. Varma will be looking to light up the tournament with his powerful hitting and deft touches helping MI win the title.Â
