With an astonishing strike rate of 171.43, the Yorkshire-born cricketer amassed 264 runs in 10 games of Pakistan Super League 2022. With an astonishing strike rate of 171.43, the Yorkshire-born cricketer amassed 264 runs in 10 games of Pakistan Super League 2022. He has been a revelation for English cricket and already has 4 test hundreds in 6 matches.

Yashawi Jaiswal

Yashaswi Jaiswal has been in tremendous form for the last 2 years. From the beginning of the 2022–23 season, when he scored a double hundred (227) for the West Zone against the North East Zone in the Duleep Trophy match in Chennai, Jaiswal has been in blistering form in red-ball cricket. Later, on his India A debut against Bangladesh in Cox's Bazaar in November 2022, the left-handed batter hit a century (146). He is in complete control of his game and has clarity about what he wants to do. With him knocking on the door of Indian selection, Jaiswal will have a point to prove in this IPL.

Sarfaraz Khan

The 25-year-old batsman finished the previous season as the Ranji Trophy's top run scorer. The Bombay cricketer is only second to the great Sir Don Bradman among batters with at least 50 innings played, with an average of 80.47. Sarfaraz has a key role to play in the absence of Rishabh Pant. He would most likely be keeping wickets for the Capitals this season and will be playing in the middle order. Sarfaraz will keep on piling up runs in the IPL with his 360-degree hitting skills.

Cameron Green

At the IPL 2023 big auction, Mumbai Indians paid a staggering amount of Rs 16.5 crore to recruit Green, an Australian all-rounder who would likely replace the famous Kieron Pollard, who announced his retirement before the auction. Although Green has only played in seven T20 Internationals, his performance in a T20 International series against India convinced Australian selectors to include him in the team for the T20 World Cup in 2022. He can bowl consistently over 140 KPH and get the new ball to swing both ways. The tall Australian all rounder has got a golden arm and always picks crucial wickets for the side.

Dewald Brevis

Brevis had previously made headlines on social media for his accomplishments in domestic T20 matches in South Africa due to his remarkable similarity to his idol "AB de Villiers," but it was at the World Cup that the kid proved he was by far the greatest player in his age category.

Dewald Brevis, a batting all-arounder for the Titans, scored the quickest 150 in T20 cricket history during the SA20 League. Chris Gayle's previous record was broken by the 19-year-old South African against Knights in a CSA T20 Challenge game when he scored 150 runs off 52 deliveries (53 deliveries). In the 7 games (161 runs at a strike rate of 142.48) he played for MI in the ensuing season, he showed flashes of his talent. Mumbai will be expecting much more from the newest Proteas phenomenon in 2023, though.

Tilak Varma

One of the few bright spots for the Mumbai Indians team last year was Tilak Varma. The second-most runs scored by a Mumbai Indians batsman, he scored 397 runs in the tournament. In five games at the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 180 runs and claimed four wickets. He had a strike rate of 147.26 runs per game and scored 215 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Competition the year before. Varma will be looking to light up the tournament with his powerful hitting and deft touches helping MI win the title.

Tristan Stubbs

At the first SA20 player auction, which was conducted in Cape Town on September 19, Tristan Stubbs, who made his T20I debut against India at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in 2022, received the highest bid of Rand 9.2 million.

Stubbs has amassed 784 runs in 34 T20s with a strike rate of 160.65 and an average of 30.15, which are remarkable totals for a T20 player. The right-handed batsman has four fifty-scores to his credit but hasn't reached 100 runs yet. Stubbs was instrumental in Eastern Cape Town's first-ever SA20 League championship.

Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag primarily bats in the middle of the order for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, although he also occasionally bowls spin. Despite having few opportunities to bat in his first year, Parag nevertheless managed to score 160 runs in just five innings. Parag still offered with the ball, even though his overs were a little expensive.

Parag has played for the Royals for four seasons, although he hasn't been consistently reliable. The right-hander has taken two wickets and scored 75 runs at an average of 37.50 in the current SMAT. Since making his T20 debut in 2017, Parag has played in 77 games and amassed 1277 runs, including nine half-centuries. He can be the finisher that India wants along with his crucial part-timers.
