A Throwback Post By Chahal Brings Back Memories Of A Legend

While most of the Indian cricket stars are super active on social media during this lockdown, there is one cricketer who is still continuing his absence from any kind of exposure. But still, he is being missed by everyone out there. He is none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Yuzvendra Chahal recently took to his social media account to share his thoughts on the same.

Chahal misses Dhoni

Yuzvendra Chahal is one such celebrity who is available and active on every social media platform. This is probably why the BCCI runs a show on his name during India’s matches. Chahal’s personality is such that he never fails to amaze the fans. During this extended lockdown in the wake of the COVID-19, while maximum cricketers are always posting photos or making live videos to interact with the audience on social media, Chahal is obviously no exception. The leg-spinner keeps on entertaining the audience with his various interesting posts. Recently he posted one of his pictures with MS Dhoni and wrote, “Miss being called tilli from behind the stumps by the legend..!!”

The picture became viral in no time, not just because it is a throwback post of two Indian superstars but hugely because of the presence of Dhoni in it.

Dhoni’s future

The 13th edition of the IPL would have seen Chahal and Dhoni representing their teams Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in normal circumstances. But unfortunately, due to the COVID, the future of this year’s IPL is in doubt. At first, the start of the IPL was deferred to April 15 from March 29 and then it was declared to be postponed for an indefinite period.

While the absence of IPL is massive for the cricket fans in general, a huge section was awaiting Dhoni’s comeback during the IPL after months of absence from the cricket field. Dhoni who has not played any cricket match since India’s exit from 2019 World Cup, was all set to lead CSK in IPL. But in the current situation, his comeback becomes dicey.
