With such all-round consistency, Kolkata will be eager to secure another win, especially against Mumbai. In contrast, Mumbai's blue and gold squad has faced numerous challenges this season and hasn't quite found their rhythm. Hardik Pandya and his Mumbai teammates have found themselves consistently struggling near the bottom of the table this season, securing only four wins so far. Now that their chances of qualifying are slim, they might use the remaining matches to try out new combinations, testing the bench strength, and focusing on building for the future. However, they're determined to win every remaining game and play with pride. One of Mumbai's major challenges has been its unstable opening pair. Rohit Sharma's recent form slump and Ishan Kishan's struggles with the bat have disrupted the team's batting lineup. While Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma have been dependable, the finishers haven't quite lived up to expectations.
