Suyash attempted to bowl a delivery aimed towards the leg side. The ball was drifting down the leg, but an attentive Samson adjusted his position and defended it successfully. He then gestured towards his batting partner and pretended to hit a six, indicating his intent to take charge of the bowling and complete his ton.

But Yashasvi could not complete the ton as he could score a boundary off Shardul Thakur off the first ball of the over. He remained unbeaten on 98* in just 47 balls.
