Young Yashaswi smashes the quickest half century in the history of the IPL

At the Thursday encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens, Yashasvi Jaiswal got the fastest half-century in IPL history.

The 21-year-old accomplished this record by scoring his fifty off just 13 balls. Jaiswal started a 150-run chase by slamming 26 runs off KKR captain Nitish Rana in the first over.

Jaiswal has now surpassed Ishan Kishan’s (516) record for the most runs scored by an uncapped Indian player in an IPL season.

With this knock, RR are not just in a winning position but also will look to improve their net run rate and complete the target quickly.
