The hard luck continued for Mumbai Indians. They lost consecutive two matches in a row. While batting in the second innings, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan gave a nice start. But Ishan Kishan walked away after scoring 34 runs only in 13 balls. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma scored 26 runs in 12 runs. After that, Naman Dhir and Tilak Verma held the innings. 

Naman Dhir scored 30 runs in 14 balls. Tilak Verma scored a half-century in a needy situation. He played a knock of 64 runs in 34 balls with 2 boundaries and 6 over-boundaries. Tim David remained unbeaten on 42 runs. Mumbai faced a defeat by 31 runs.
