Twitter Reactions: IPL 2020: Here’s how Twitterati reacts on Ravichandran Ashwin’s Injury

Twitter went buzzing over Ravichandran Ashwin after his magnificent one-over show against Kings XI Punjab. Some started calling it ‘ex-factor’, and some definitely seemed concerned for his shoulder dislocation.

Ravichandran Ashwin was traded to Delhi Capitals after captaining Kings XI Punjab for the last couple of seasons. His off-spins were doing the job modestly but his captaincy did not please the franchise management. KL Rahul was made the new captain of the side ahead of IPL 2020 season and Ashwin was traded to the Delhi based franchise. Interestingly, Ashwin’s first IPL match for Delhi Capitals was against his former franchise in Dubai today.

Ashwin came, bowled only one over, and almost finished hopes of KXIP. He took two major wickets of Karun Nair (1) and Nicholas Pooran (0) when KXIP needed them the most. KXIP were chasing down 158 and started to struggle from the very beginning. Ashwin, the warrior showed up at the occasion and delivered a miraculous over conceding only two runs. But unfortunately, on the last delivery of the same over, he jumped to save a ball hit by Glenn Maxwell. He dived on his left shoulder and injured himself. He had to leave the ground in no time but he left everyone awestruck by his caliber yet again.
