Sehwag Unleashes Unfiltered Praise as Yashasvi’s  Domination on  England’s Bowling on Day 3

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag expresses his unfiltered thoughts following Yashasvi’s impressive performance, dominating the England attack on Day 3.

Yashasvi’s Exceptional Form:

After getting the call-up to the Indian Test squad, Yashasvi is using every opportunity in the best way. Since the start of the Test match, he has shown his excellence. In the first Test, India faced a defeat of 28 runs. But in the first innings, Yashasvi played an excellent knock of 80 runs in 74 balls. That was a huge boost for India’s innings. 

After facing defeat in the first Test match, Team India bounced back in the second Test match. In the first innings, Yashasvi registered his maiden double-century in the longest format of cricket. He played a knock of 209 runs in 290 balls. He played some brave shots against the English bowlers. English bowlers faced difficulties in stopping him. 

His magnificent form continued even in the third Test. He registered another century. He smashed some exceptional shots against the English spinners. But he retired hurt after scoring 104 runs in 133 balls. 

Sehwag’s Thoughts:

Similar to how he batted during his playing career, Sehwag is famous for his casual and unfiltered opinions. This didn’t change as he shared his thoughts on Jaiswal in a recent post.

That story grabbed the attention. After posting a picture of Yashasvi, he wrote, “Back to back centuries for Yashasvi Jaiswal. Treating spinners the way they should be treated.”

England heavily leaned on their spinners during the second innings, with the trio of Tom Hartley, Rehan Ahmed, and Joe Root delivering 37 of the team’s 51 overs. However, Jaiswal faced them with remarkable ease on his way to scoring a century.

In the second innings, India is playing well. After Rajat Patidar got dismissed on a duck, Kuldeep Yadav Joined Gill. Gill completed his century and currently batting on 86 runs in 148 balls. He smashed 8 boundaries and 2 over-boundaries. Kuldeep Yadav is batting on 26 runs in 57 balls with 3 boundaries and 1 over-boundary. India has a lead of 367 runs.
