The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders saw Mohammed Siraj from RCB running through the top order of Kolkata Knight Riders and claiming three wickets for eight runs in four overs. Yuzvendra Chahal as usual delivered a brilliant spell to take two wickets conceding 15 runs in four overs. Navdeep Saini and Washington Sundar took one each.
Chasing 85 runs was anyway going to be a cakewalk for the star-studded RCB line-up. But still, Lockie Ferguson managed to take one wicket to end as the highlight of the KKR side. Ferguson’s spell was in fact the only positive things for KKR in this match; 4-0-17-1. Devdutt Padikkal was run-out by Pat Cummins. Chahal is at the 3rd spot of the Purple Cap table of IPL 2020 at present. Royal Challengers Bangalore has only one representative in the list in Chahal whereas KKR has none.
