In the 16th over, Bairstow hit Yuzvendra Chahal for a massive six. There was KL Rahul back on the rope. But it was a powerful hit by Bairstow. Hence the fielder couldn’t do much although went for it. He threw himself backward to get a grip of the ball at long-on but it was of no use. It went for an easy maximum.

KL Rahul’s Injury Update

And A Breakthrough

Rahul felt some pain post the stint and he had to leave the ground in the next over. Ravindra Jadeja was called in his place to continue the fielding from the 16th over. Since there is no injury update for KL Rahul till now, it can be expected that he is fit enough to open for India. The way England are going, it will be a tough chase for India. With a replacement in Pant in the middle order, the top order has to give a solid start.

Jadeja who replaced Rahul meanwhile took the most important catch of the moment for India. Roy again went for a huge one towards the long on off Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery. But India had a brilliant fielder at that position at that time. Jadeja jumped to his left, dived and grab the catch just inches above from the ground. And India got the much-awaited breakthrough!
