Mohammed Siraj Gets His Finger Injured While Bowling In IND Vs BAN

The Match 17 of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is still on between India and Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The two sides are in full action, leading to an uncertainty as to who will win the match today. Having won the toss, Bangladesh chose to bat first as the pitch at the stadium is very well suited for batting. Team India displayed a magical spell in the first few overs with conceding only 8 runs in the first five overs during Bangladesh’s batting. During the first 10 overs, the two bowlers to bowl were Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj but the star bowlers couldn’t scalp a wicket.

Injury and wicket in the same over

Indian right arm pacer Mohammed Siraj took his first wicket dismissing Mehidy Hasan for just 3 runs. His next breakthrough came with Nasum Ahmed’s wicket but before that Siraj was on the verge of getting a serious injury but luckily, destiny had other plans decided for Team India. During his delivery in the 46th over of the first innings, Mohammed Siraj got his fingers hurt which made him feel a little uncomfortable due to pain. As soon as he got hurt, the medical team present at the stadium rushed to the field and helped him with a bandaid on the finger. After some time, Siraj felt fine and decided to bowl further. Just as the 29-year old bowler bowled in the same over, he took down Nasum Ahmed for 14 runs off 18 balls. The catch was caught by KL Rahul which made Ahmed leave the field.

Will India be able to chase the delivered target?
