Three quick wickets and Rajasthan Royals started crawling during the chase against Mumbai Indians in the ongoing IPL 2020 match. When Jos Buttler and Mahimal Lomor were trying to stabilize the innings, an unbelievable catch from Anukul Roy changed the scenario yet again in favor of Mumbai Indians.
RR in a tough chase
Mumbai Indians, based on Suryakumar Yadav (79* off 47) and Hardik Pandya (30* off 19) put 193 for the loss of four wickets against Rajasthan Royals. In reply, Rajasthan Royal started struggling from the beginning. The upcoming star of Indian cricket Yashasvi Jaisal was gone for a duck in the second ball of the Royal innings. In a while, Steve Smith, the dependable captain, and skipper of the side were dismissed in the second over by Jasprit Bumrah. Sanju Samson was the next batsman to follow them as Rajasthan Royals were 12/3 in the third over of their innings. Jos Buttler, along with Mahipal Lomor tried to bring stability to the innings and chase down the target slowly but steadily.

But it was in the 9th over of Rajasthan Royals innings that again gave a massive breakthrough. Rahul Chahar’s ball was hit by Mahipal Lomor and Anukul Roy was seen running backwards from the extra cover. He sprinted back to his left and dived to pouch the ball. And guess what, the ball was safely caught by him to give another blow to Rajasthan Royals.
Anukul Roy, who took the catch was a sub into the middle in place of Suryakumar Yadav. The man who helped Mumbai Indians set a huge target was hit on his helmet by Jofra Archer in the 19th over of Mumbai Indians innings. However, after a quick check-up by the physio, Yadav was set to continue. He replied to Archer with a massive six on his next ball of the same over. Eventually, Suryakumar Yadav finished with 11 fours and two sixes to his name.
