Indian Premier League 2024 Orange Cap: Updated After Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Match No. 30

Chasing a huge total of 288 runs was not an easy task. But while chasing the huge target, they showcased their characters. RCB’s fightback was commendable, with Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis providing a strong foundation. Kohli made a quick 42 off 20 balls, while du Plessis added a half-century, scoring 62 runs in just 28 balls before being dismissed. However, it was Dinesh Karthik’s outstanding batting that stole the spotlight. 

When RCB faced setbacks with three consecutive wickets, Karthik took charge and delivered a spectacular performance. He scored an impressive 83 runs in just 35 balls, smashing 5 boundaries and 7 towering sixes at a remarkable strike rate of 237.14. Despite his efforts, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured the victory by 25 runs. Karthik’s extraordinary innings left a lasting impact on fans and highlighted the intense competition and talent showcased in the tournament.
