They registered highest scored in international cricket at least twice. They have just concluded the ODI and thrashed Pakistan by 4-0. England have been mostly undefeated and their only defeats came against India and South Africa, the number two and three ranked teams in the world. England have won the trophy so far. This time on home soil they have all the chance to win it. The biggest strength of England is that is a complete side considering all the aspects and departments.
Weaknesses of England TeamÂ
England do not have a great record in the World Cup so far and Eoin Morgan’s men are still vulnerable at the occasion. Their aggressiveness can go wrong at occasions as well. England, at home, can any day win a series against a particular. In the World Cup, they will have only one match to defeat a team and move on. Moreover, this time the World Cup has a round robin format which means you lose a match you lose points and you may not get a chance to progress further. England spinners have been expensive recently in one-day matches. This is definitely a concern that the team management should work on.
