Jasprit Bumrah is one such name in Indian cricket who has not attracted much criticism. But things seem to have changed since the last few days. His not so good showcases in last few outings have been the talk of the town and fans have started giving extreme reactions.
Bumrah’s Off Form Continues
Since his debut in international cricket in 2016, Jasprit Bumrah has become one of the finest names in Virat Kohli’s squad. He is often compared to the legends of Indian cricket and considered to be a part of the top league. But his stunning journey had a brief break due to a back injury last year. Since then he has struggled to reclaim his reputation. He missed the home season in the second half of 2019 for the same. Off late he has not been that much impressive and irked the fans.
Bumrah returned to action last month during the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Since then he has been struggling with form and failed to pick up regular wickets. In his comeback match, he took one wicket for 32 runs and the struggle continued in the next game too. The series against Australia was no exception as Bumrah had only one success in the three-match series.

Fans React After Second ODI Against Kiwis
Even the tour of New Zealand seems to be same for Bumrah. Although he has been economical, he has not been handy with wickets. In the five-match T20I series, he managed to pick up only six wickets out of which three came in a single game. Then the first ODI saw him conceding 53 runs without any success and India failed to defend close to 350 runs. Even in the second ODI on Saturday he remained ineffective.
No wonder the fans have become impatient now and started to react on his off form. Mufaddal Vohra wrote, “ Jasprit Bumrah has been economical in past but he’s not looking into his own rhythm, after his comeback he’s not completely yet the Jasprit Bumrah we used to know. Missing blockholes and struggling with his line!! Hopefully, we can see the old Bumrah in test matches.”
