Delhi Capitals Secures Star Power: Prithvi Shaw Retained for IPL 2024 Campaign

Last-minute checking is going on in every franchise. As per Reports, Prithvi Shaw has been retained by Delhi Capitals. It is a nice move by DC management.

Prithvi Shaw’s Retention:

After winning the Under-19 World Cup, Prithvi Shaw entered Delhi Capitals. Since then he has been on the team. He is a terrific opener for the IPL franchise. He has played several match-winning knocks while playing for the franchise. But in the last season, he struggled with the bat. He scored very less amount of runs for the team. He didn’t play all the games in the last edition. In 2019, he registered his highest IPl score of 99 runs.

In the 2023 IPL Delhi Capitals faced difficulties. Out of 14 matches, DC won 5 fixtures. They finished in the 9th position. Out of this poor performance, they missed out on featuring in the playoffs. Rishabh Pant missed out the whole tournament due to injury. That impacted their team’s performance. Currently, Prithvi Shaw is recovering from an injury. He is hoping to make a remarkable comeback. IPL 2024 can be a great opportunity for them.

Rishabh Pant’s Comeback:

Rishabh Pant met a life-threatening accident in December 2022. After that, he went under the knife and even now, he is in the recovery process.
