In a video released by Mumbai Indians on X (previouslyTwitter), Bumrah was seen showing off his willow stick skills in front of the wicket. A thrilling and classy drive at mid-wicket, the fast bowler showed that he has it all.

Bumrah who started his career as a batsman playing at number 11 has shown tremendous improvement in his form over the years.

The MI pacer had a sensational first half of IPL 2024 with 13 wickets in seven matches at an economy rate of just 5.96. However, it is only natural that he was going to have an off day at some point and it came against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 22.

Parthiv said, “In 2014, when I was in RCB I had told Virat that there’s a bowler Bumrah, just see him. The reply that came from his end was ‘Chord na yaar, ye Bumrah-Vumrah kya karenge?'” Parthiv Patel claimed on Cricbuzz.

As things turned out, MI roped in the pacer.
