The announcement comes at a time when the BCA’s Randir Verma U-19 Tournament 2023-24 is underway, along with the men’s Senior Inter-District One Day League 2023-24 in Bihar. These tournaments aim to nurture raw talent in the state and provide a pathway for talented players to represent Bihar at various levels.
Every year, the Bihar Cricket Association organizes domestic cricket tournaments for its young players across various age groups. Based on these competitions, talented players are selected for Bihar’s team and receive specialized training facilitated by certified coaches from the BCCI.
The formation of the Women’s Cricket Development Committee marks a significant milestone in the efforts to promote women’s cricket in Bihar and create a more inclusive and diverse cricketing ecosystem in the state.
