This edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup has been organized by India. Indian pitches are more spin-friendly. In Indian pitches, spin can give ultimate success to a team. If any team’s spin side is strong enough they can receive success. England has a talented bowler named Adil Rashid. But the question that is raising buzz is who will be the backup spinner after him.
The concern comes from a valid point of view. If Adil Rashid had a bad day at Crese then who will take the charge? Adil was the main one from England’s squad who could create ultimate pressure on the opponent. But in this World Cup England might lack this fact.
Prioritising Harry Brook:
Harry Brook is a big name in the England squad. Undoubtedly he made a grand entry into the team. He scored so many runs in a pressured situation. Everyone is expecting something big from him.
But this expectation may have paid a big cost. Because of this amount of expectation, Brook can lose his focus. From his stats on the Indian pitch, teams should not depend only on him. If he fails in one match then it will be hard for England to dominate the opponent in the match.

Liam Livingstone has been selected for England’s 15-member squad. Team management has believed in him. So now it’s his responsibility to take his team to a new height. He has played 12 ODI and scored one century. His average is 31 with a strike rate of 123. Team management has chosen him for the 6/7 number batter. It is a brave decision by the team. If he fails to show his skills in the big stage it will be a big backlog for the team.
England was the last time Winner of the World Cup. That was their first-ever World Cup win. This time they also can win it for the second time. They played a lot in Indian pitches, they know what will work on that kind of pitch. They will be facing New Zealand in the inaugural match of the World Cup. They defeated New Zealand in the last World Cup and won the title. New Zealand will try to take that revenge.
