In the third Test match, Team India won the toss and opted to bat first. While batting first. India lost three quick wickets. But captain Rohit Sharma played a captain’s knock. He scored 131 runs in 196 balls. Ravindra Jadeja scored an amazing century and played a knock of 112 runs in 225 balls. In the first innings, India put a fighting total of 445 runs on the board.
While England was chasing it, Ravindra Jadeja came to bowl in the 31st over. Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett were on the crease. On the third delivery of the over, Jadeja bowled a no-ball. After that, he bowled another no-ball on the fourth delivery. That was a setback for the team.
Rohit’s Hilarious Comment:
After watching Jadeja bowling frequent no-balls, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma made a hilarious comment. He said, “Yaar, ye Jadeja IPL mein to itne No Balls nahi dalta. T20 samajh ke bowling kar, Jaddu. (Man, Jadeja doesn’t bowl this many no-balls in IPL. Think it’s a T20 game and bowl).” That hilarious moment went viral.
After losing the first wicket, England bounced back. Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope were pushing England closer to the target. Pope was dismissed by Siraj on 39 runs. Ben Duckett scored an amazing century. He is still unbeaten on 133 runs in 118 balls. On the other hand, Joe Rooy is unbeaten on 9 runs in 13 balls. England ended day 2 on 207-2.
