WPL 2023: Here’s how this star RCB players celebrated Holi

With each passing day, the Women’s Premier League is getting more and more popular. BCCI and all the franchises are trying their best to promote the league at all levels. Be it through advertisement or through content creation; they are making sure that fans are updated with everything that happens on and off the field at the WPL.

The idea behind a league like this is to bring athletes from different cultures together and gel them together for individual as well as cultural enrichment. teams are composed of players from different regions and countries, which helps to foster a multicultural environment. Players have the opportunity to learn about and appreciate different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. In such light, the Women’s Premier League could not have occurred at a better time.

At a time when the entire nation is celebrating the auspicious festival of Holi, franchises and players are also getting tinged in the colors of Holi. The latest to join the trend is RCB’s Ellyse Perry. Despite losing their first two encounters, the RCB camp seems rather relaxed and submerged in the spirits of Holi.

Royal Challengers Bangalore on Twitter: “Festivities, team bonding, and lots of smiles! ✨🥳 Here’s wishing everyone Happy Holi! 😊🎨 #PlayBold #ನಮ್ಮRCB #Holi2023 https://t.co/BQCBb2vbh1” / Twitter

In a recent story shared on Perry’s Instagram account, the Australian all-rounder can be seen taking post-Holi celebration snaps with fellow RCB teammates Megan Schutt and Sophie Devine.

In a follow-up story, Perry can be seen humorously asking fans for advice on how to remove the colors from her hair. The picture shows Perry flexing her post-Holi pink hair and asking the fans, “Just wondering if this is now a permanent thing? I’ve washed my hair twice.”

Ellyse Perry is naturally blonde and thus the Holi colors have had a rather deep impact on her hair. It was funny and relatable for the Indian fans as removing colors after Holi is something we all struggle with.
