ICC Cricket World Cup is just a few steps ahead of being on the inaugural stage. All teams are preparing the best before the biggest competition of cricket. Some teams are preparing by playing series and some are preparing by practicing hard. India is playing their last ODI series against Australia.

Ahead of the World Cup, Indian team management is giving importance to workload management. Because of that reason, they announced two different squads for the ODI series. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya were rested for the first two ODIs. they are coming back in the final ODI against Australia.
Before the World Cup, India was the favorite. They put all their star players in the squad. The last edition of the World Cup was not in favor of India. But Rohit Sharma scored 5 centuries in 9 matches and ended the tournament with 648 runs. Everyone is hoping to see the Hitman show again.
In an interaction, Rohit Sharma said, “ Whether I score 1 hundred or 2 hundred or even no hundred in this World Cup 2023, we have to win the World Cup Trophy and this is the main goal.”
Team India’s performance ahead of the World Cup:
India has just finished the Asia Cup before the ODI series against Australia. They named the Asia Cup title for the eighth time. All the batters and bowlers are in great form. In the Asia Cup, the Indian side was just unstoppable. They beat Pakistan in the Super 4 stage by 228 runs. This was a huge win.
In the final, India was in another form. They defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets. After winning the toss Sri Lanka decided to bat first. But Mohammed Siraj was a terror in front of them. He took 6 wickets in 21 runs. Sri Lanka was all out just in 50 runs. With this magnificent win, India grabbed the title most easily.
It is high time ahead of the tournament. Last time in 2011, when India hosted the World Cup, they finished on high. They won the title by defeating Sri Lanka in the final. After a long time, India is hosting the campaign again. Expectations are high. Fans are excited to see India finish on high.
