After facing a disappointing defeat in the World Cup final against Australia, India, and Australia are facing each other again in a five-match T20 series. On November 23, India and Australia locked horns in Vishakapatnam for the first T20 international. It was a thrilling match. The game was still on till the second last ball. After this match, Skipper Surya Kumar Yadav Pulled Tilak Verma’s leg. That moment caught the netizen’s attention.

As the World Cup players are in rest, Suryakumar Yadav is appointed as the captain of the series against Australia. He is one of the World Cup squad members who is playing the full T20 series against Australia. While the seniors are not in the team, youngsters are named in the squad. Tilak Verma is one of them. 

After the first T20 match, Suryakumar Yadav shared a picture on his Instagram story. In the picture, Tilak Verma is seen with tattoos on his neck. With that picture, Surya wrote, “ Who’s interested in charging their phones?” After seeing this hilarious post, fans are drooling over it. 

First T20 Highlights:

After the World Cup, India and Australia are playing their first series. To play the first T20 match of the series, both teams met in Vishakapatnam on November 23. Initially, after winning the toss, skipper Suryakumar Yadav opted to bowl first. While batting in the first innings, Australia gave a decent start. Matthew Short got out by scoring 13 runs. While opening the innings, Steve Smith scored a half-century. Josh Inglis scored an excellent century. He played a knock of 110 runs in 50 balls. After 20 overs, they set a target of 209 runs.

In the second innings, India didn’t have a desired start. Ruturaj Gaikwad got out on a diamond duck. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav held the innings. Ishan got out by scoring 58 runs. Suryakumar Yadav played an excellent knock. He scored 80 runs in just 42 deliveries. His innings were contained with 9 boundaries and 4 over-boundaries. Rinku Singh finished the innings being unbeaten on 22 runs. India won the match by 2 wickets and led the series by 1-0.
