SRH wins IPL2024 match against LSG with 0 runs lost, Tendulkar praises

Sun Risers Hyderabad are back at it again. The team was in an IPL 2024 match against Lucknow Super Giants at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Well, its safe to say that SRH perfectly killed it in the field.

LSG had won the toss and their captain KL Rahul opted to bowl first. This might have been done because SRH didn’t prove themselves to be a bowl-first team in their previous matches. However, the outcome today didn’t favor LSG

LSG scored a total of 165/4 in 20 overs, while SRH bashed them with a super-charged 167 runs in 9.4 overs, that too without losing a single wicket.

Abhishek-Travis partnership

Never before have so many runs ever been scored in the first 10 overs of an IPL game. Today’s match was a perfect example of how IPL never fails to surprise us.

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma made batting look easier than EA Cricket on amateur mode, as they devoured into the LSG bowlers, inflicting a brutal loss to the visitors.

Travis was awarded with the Player Of The Match status as he scored 89* in only 30 balls, while youngster Abhishek Sharma didn’t fall much behind by scoring 75* off of 28 balls.

Tendulkar takes to “X” to rave about Head-Sharma partnership

Former Indian legend batter who played for MI in the IPL and is loved by millions of Indians, Sachin Tendulkar couldn’t stop himself from opening up about how he felt as the Abhishek-Travis partnership went on to win a full match.

“A destructive opening partnership would be an understatement tonight. Had these boys batted first, they would have scored 300!” Said Tendulkar’s post on social media site, X.
