Australian cricketer Pat Cummins has landed in India to join the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. The Sunrisers announced Cummins’ arrival on their social media, welcoming him to Hyderabad.

Cummins, who has not previously captained a T20 team, has been appointed as the skipper of the Sunrisers for this season. He takes over from Aiden Markram, following the team’s failure to reach the playoffs in the previous edition of the tournament.
