Shubman Gill Surpasses 400 Runs, Becomes Second-Highest Scorer in Test Series

On day 2, Shubman scored his 4th Test hundred. Gill entered the crease after opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dismissal on Day 1, who scored a notable 58-ball 57 against spinner Shoaib Bashir. On day 2, he gave a great start. With amazing prowess, he completed his half-century and crossed the century mark. He reached the century mark on 137 balls. He is batting on 101 runs in 142 balls. 

India’s Dominance:

Since the beginning of the series, Team India dominated the opponent. In the fifth Test against England, Ravichandran Ashwin made his 100th Test appearance. He made the match memorable with an exciting 4-wicket haul. Kuldeep Yadav was outstanding. He registered a five-wicket haul in the Tet series. They stopped England in 218 runs. 

Rohit Sharma showcased his dominating form by achieving his 12th century in Test cricket against England on Day 2 of the Dharamsala Test. Continuing his excellent performance in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle, he secured his 2nd century of the series, nearing the 400-run milestone.
