Shreyas Iyer got out on a duck in the first match against Australia. He has faced a lot of criticism after that. But during this match, he looked very calm and composed. In the second innings, India gave an amazing start. Rohit Sharma played an excellent innings. He scored 131 runs in 84 balls. He smashed 16 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries. Along with this century, Rohit registered his 7th century in 13th innings. He also broke the record for most sixes previously held by Chris Gayle.
Ishan Kishan missed his half-century by 3 runs. He got out on 47. After that, Virat and Shreyas secured India’s innings. Virat played a knock of 55 runs in 56 balls. He smashed 6 boundaries in that match. His inning consisted of some brilliant shots. Shreyas Iyer remained not out on 25 runs. India won the match by 8 wickets.
