In a light-hearted moment on Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma shared amusing insights into his teammates’ room-sharing habits. Joined by fellow cricketer Shreyas Iyer, Rohit engaged in a playful banter with host Kapil Sharma, revealing that he would never share a room with two of his teammates, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant, due to their messy tendencies.
During the episode, Rohit jokingly remarked, “Everyone gets a single room nowadays. But if I get a chance to share a single room, there are two people with whom I wouldn’t want to share rooms with – Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. Bade gande hai (They are very messy).” He went on to describe how Dhawan and Pant often leave their clothes scattered around the room, leading to their rooms staying messy for several days.
Rohit humorously added that Dhawan and Pant’s rooms are always on “Do Not Disturb” (DND) mode because they sleep until late in the morning. He mentioned that the housekeeping staff avoids entering their rooms, which further contributes to the untidy state.
Despite the jokes, Rohit’s comments shed light on the camaraderie and bond shared among teammates, showcasing the lighter side of their relationships off the field.
