Rohit Sharma to Lead India in T20I Series Against New Zealand

Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian cricket team in the New Zealand T20I series at home right after the T20 World Cup. KL Rahul has been appointed as his deputy for the same.

The BCCI announced the T20I squad for India’s upcoming series against New Zealand starting on November 17. Rohit Sharma as expected would be leading the side while KL Rahul would be the vice-captain. Rahul Dravid will start working on his new role as the Head Coach of Indian cricket team from the same series.

The regulars like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Hardik Pandya are not part of the squad named for the series.
