Prize Money announced for the winners of the TATA IPL 2023

Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans are scheduled to square off in the grand finale on Sunday, May 28, at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, bringing the Indian Premier League 2023 closer to its conclusion. The prize money for the winners and runners-up has been made public in advance of the big final, and the teams may expect to receive significant financial rewards.

Prize Money

Mumbai Indians, the victor of the eliminator, would receive INR 7 crore as compensation, while Lucknow Super Giants, the loser, will receive INR 6.5 crore, according to a report by Sportstar. In contrast, the competition’s winners would each receive INR 20 crore, while the Runner Up will receive INR 13 crore.

With 129 runs off only 60 deliveries against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2, GT’s opener Shubman Gill wreaked havoc and became the 23-year-old’s third century in his previous four games. Sai Sudharsan also displayed excellent form. Mohammed Shami was able to claim two wickets, while Mohit Sharma once more displayed outstanding play by claiming his first five-for of the year.

Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad will pose a serious danger to Gujarat in Chennai. They defeated Gujarat, and on a pitch that is conducive to batting, the pair can be quite dangerous in the middle.

The Narendra Modi Stadium’s surface has so far proven to be conducive to batting, but it has also provided some assistance to new ball bowlers. The average first-inning score in the IPL is 168, while the average second-inning score is 155. On the other hand, in 2023, batting first brings in an average score of 187. The two teams that were pursuing and defending won three times each in the six games that were played there in 2023.

One of the most dependable teams in IPL history has been CSK. CSK has a long history of success, and with a skipper like MS Dhoni, they have won the finals four times.

GT leads the table and is the defending champion. The Gujarat team has a balanced roster of all-rounders, bowlers, and hitters. Due to their incredible season, GT is currently in the lead. The pitch conditions and GT’s home advantage offer them a good chance of winning.
