It is one of those memories that I could have avoided. I have a good relationship with my seniors, but due to one incident, it spoilt my image.”

He referred to this incident as the biggest regret of his career. He said, “That is why I said it is my biggest regret because we were very close at one point in time. While playing for KKR, we used to have a lot of discussions and brainstorm over who to pick in Kolkata. The relationship was such that we used to go into details and inputs. But things did not pan out the way that it should have.”

Later he added, “ Yeah (laughs), and that was very immature of him to say that. In Kotla, the journalist’s tent is inside the ground, and everyone hears each and every word present there. But with my physical attributes and his physical attributes, kise pata kaun shaam ko milta (Who knows who would have met whom).”
