In the second innings, Sunrisers Hyderabad recovered from early setbacks, as Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy formed a strong partnership. Head scored 58 runs before his dismissal, while Reddy remained unbeaten with a knock of 76 runs. Heinrich Klaasen also played a crucial role, scoring an unbeaten 42 runs off just 19 balls. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag’s partnership revived their innings. Jaiswal scored 67 runs in 40 balls while Parag played an outstanding knock of 77 runs in 49 balls. Despite contributions from Shimron Hetmyer and Rowman Powell, they fell short by just 1 run in the end.

On the bowling front, Kumar and T. Natarajan struck early for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although Jaiswal and Parag built a strong partnership, Pat Cummins and Natarajan’s breakthroughs turned the match. The game intensified as Cummins and Natarajan took crucial wickets, but it was Kumar who sealed the win for Hyderabad by dismissing Powell in the final delivery.
