ICC World Cup 2023 Most Wickets: Updated After Pakistan Vs. Bangladesh Match No. 31

The World Cup 2023 has witnessed another thrilling clash. A dramatic clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh has just ended. On October 31, Pakistan locked horns with Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Kolata witnessed a thrilling win for Pakistan. Suspense was there in every moment. It was a crucial match for both teams. After losing the match, Bangladesh was knocked out of the tournament. 

Initially, Bangladesh won the match and decided to bat first. Bangladesh lost an early wicket of Tanzid Hasan. Litton Das tried to hold the innings. He scored 45 runs in 64 balls. Shanto and Mushfiiqur Rahim got out early. Mahmulluah shines again. He played a knock of 56 balls 70 balls. Shakib Al Hasan tried to contribute the best to his team. He scored 43 runs in 64 balls. After losing back-to-back matches, Pakistan was on a backfoot. But in this match, Pakistani bowlers showed their class. Shaheen Afridi Shines Again. He picked up 3 very crucial wickets in 23 runs. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has a disappointing dismissal on 9 runs. Mohammad Rizwan remained not out on 26 runs and Iftikhar Ahmed remained unbeaten on 17 runs. 

Bangladesh bowlers again had a disappointing innings. Mehidy Hasan 3 wickets in 60 runs. All the Bangladeshi bowlers remained wicketless in the match. It was a disappointing journey for them throughout the tournament. After losing the match, they were knocked out of the tournament. 

Shaheen Afridi Climbs Up to Number two:

Pakistan bowlers registered a clinical performance in the match. All the bowlers shined the brightest. After facing consecutive losses in the tournament, they made a great comeback. Shaheen Afridi took three wickets in just 23 runs. 

He gave the first success to Pakistan in the first innings. In the very first over, Tanzid Hasan got out on 0. His next wicket was Najmul Shanto. Afridi dismissed him in 4 runs. Mahmudullah was his third wicket. Shaheen Afridi picked him when he was batting on 56 runs. His economy rate in this match was 2.56.

Haris Rauf Comes at Number 8:

Haris Rauf climbs up at number 8. He picked up two wickets in 36 runs. The first wicket for him in this match was Mushfiqur Rahim. He picked him up in 5 runs. After that, he picked up the big wicket of Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan. It was a huge wicket. In this tournament, he picked up 12 wickets.
