Despite the setbacks, there was a glimmer of hope for DC at the toss. Skipper Rishabh Pant confirmed the return of key bowlers Kuldeep Yadav and Mukesh Kumar, who were sidelined due to injuries.  “We would have batted first as well. A few of our players got injured, so need to find the right playing XI. We have two changes. Mukesh and Kuldeep are back.Â
They were injured, looking forward to seeing them back on the field,” said Pant. The return of these experienced bowlers could bolster DC’s bowling attack, which has been one of their weaker areas this season.
LSG Looks to Extend Winning Streak with Forced Change
Meanwhile, the Lucknow Super Giants will be aiming to extend their winning streak to four matches. However, they will be without their young pace prodigy Mayank Yadav, who is ruled out due to injury. Arshad Khan has been named as his replacement.
