David Warner’s Dramatic Entrance at SCG to Play for Sydney Thunder in BBL 13

Australian cricketer David Warner made a grand entrance at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) to join Sydney Thunder in the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL 13). Warner, who recently played his final Test at the same venue, arrived in a private helicopter to make it in time for Thunder’s match against Sydney Sixers.

Warner’s helicopter was initially planned to land at the nearby Allianz Stadium, but the plan was changed, and he landed in the outfield of SCG, where a ‘Thanks Dave’ logo was painted to commemorate his last Test match.

The veteran batter had signed a two-year contract with Sydney Thunder and was attending his brother’s wedding. He will make three appearances for Thunder this season, starting with the match against Sydney Sixers.

Warner’s helicopter arrival added a touch of Hollywood glamour to the BBL, and his presence is expected to bolster Sydney Thunder’s campaign in the tournament.
