Asia Cup 2023 Commentator List Revealed, Notable Indian Commentator Absent

With the highly anticipated 2023 Asia Cup just around the corner, cricket enthusiasts can look forward to a star-studded lineup of commentators set to provide insightful analysis and engaging commentary throughout the continental tournament. The Asia Cricket Council (ACC) has assembled a panel of 12 esteemed commentators from five cricketing nations, adding an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming event.

Aakash Chopra excluded

In a surprising twist, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra finds himself excluded from the distinguished commentators’ panel. Chopra, known for his thought-provoking insights and occasionally controversial statements, has been a familiar voice in the commentary box in recent years. His absence from the panel has raised eyebrows, especially considering his contribution to the commentary lineup for India.

The Asia Cup 2023 promises an exhilarating clash of cricketing titans, with India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan vying for supremacy. The tournament will be played in the One Day International (ODI) format, providing teams with a valuable opportunity to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the impending ODI World Cup 2023, set to begin on October 5 in India.

The roster of commentators includes iconic cricket personalities from India and Pakistan, adding to the rivalry and anticipation surrounding the Asia Cup.
