Another World Cup fever is loading. The T20 World Cup is less than a month to be on the big stage. The tournament will be inaugurated on June 1. The West Indies and the USA are jointly arranging the exciting tournament. The teams announced their squad and they are all set to face all the challenges. Before stepping onto the big stage, South Africa got a new sponsor. Indian dairy brand, Amul is going to sponsor them in the tournament.
Amul Will Sponsor South Africa in the T20 World Cup:
The T20 World Cup is coming back after two years. This time, the USA and West Indies are hosting the marquee event together. The matches will take place in both countries. The inaugural match will be played on June 1. All the teams are announcing their squad and preparing hard for the upcoming tournament. Before stepping into the tournament South Africa got a new sponsor.
South Africa’s cricket board announced on Thursday that Indian dairy giant Amul will sponsor them during the T20 World Cup in June. With a global presence, Amul has previously sponsored cricket teams like the Netherlands, South Africa, and Afghanistan. Not only that, Amul has been associated with the South African team since 2019. In the 2023 World Cup, the Indian dairy giant was associated with the team. Apart from South Africa, Amul is also sponsoring the USA team.

Cricket South Africa is having Amul as their sponsor for one more time. While talking about the sponsorship, CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki said, “We’re excited to announce our ongoing partnership with Amul for the upcoming T20 World Cup. After being associated with Cricket South Africa, Amul’s Managing Director expressed joy. He said, “Amul has been associated with the South Africa team in the 2019 ODI series and 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup. We are proud to further strengthen our association with the South Africa men’s cricket team and wish them all the best for the T20 World Cup.”
South Africa performed well in the ODI World Cup last year. Before stepping into this tournament, they are all ready. They have announced their squad for the biggest T20 competition. Aiden Markram will lead the side. They will face Sri Lanka on June 3 in their inaugural match of the tournament.
