Adidas Unveils India’s World Cup Jersey

The World Cup is around the corner. The whole world is in cricket fever. But before the biggest tournament, every team is gearing up with the absolute best. Amidst all, Team India has unveiled their jersey for the World Cup.

This time Adidas has sponsored the jersey for India. On 20 September, the jersey is going to be revealed in front of the cricket world. They put three white stripes on the shoulders with the vibrant tricolor. The BCCI logo will proudly bear two stars, that will symbolize India’s two World Cup wins in 1983 and 2011. 

Adidas has named their World Cup campaign as ‘3 Ka Dream.’ According to the sponsors, the campaign is a testament to the country’s unwavering support for Team India. In an official press release, Adidas said,” 3 Ka Dream’ gives words to see their team win a third ODI World Cup.”

‘Adidas’ special World Cup sung by Indian rapper Raftaar. This video will feature Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav along with Indian fans.

India’s World Cup journey:

This edition of the tournament is hosted in India. The tournament will raise its curtain on 5th October. In the inaugural match, England will face New Zealand. In the previous edition, England ended the tournament being the World Champion. This time New Zealand will face the opponent with all their strength.  India will play their first match on 8th October against England in Chennai. On October 14, the world will see the world’s biggest cricket rivalry. On that day India Will face Pakistan in Ahmedabad.

Before that India will play two warm-up matches on September 29 and October 3 against England and Netherlands. The final will take place on November 19. That day the entire world will witness the new World Champion. This time Indian fans are more excited because India will host the tournament. Last time, when India hosted the tournament they finished on high. Every Indian hoping for the same this time.
