Adam Gilchrist clarifies the air about being the ‘richest cricketer in the world’

On Tuesday, The Global Index published a list of the top 10 richest cricketers in the world as of 2023. Adam Gilchrist, a former standout player for Australia, topped the list ahead of Virat Kohli, Ricky Ponting, and Sachin Tendulkar. His estimated net worth was $380 million.

Gilchrist’s net worth is $110 million higher than Sachin Tendulkar’s, who is projected to have a $170 million net worth, and $268 million more than Virat Kohli, who is considered to have a net worth of $115 million. Other Australians on the list include Steve Smith, whose net worth is listed as $30 million, and Ricky Ponting, whose is listed as $75 million.

The real story

Gilchrist’s name is discovered to be on the list as a result of F45. It should be emphasized that F45 is a global chain of fitness centers, and its CEO is one of Australia’s wealthiest people. CEO Adam Gilchrist is his name. He is not, however, an Australian cricketer.

But nonetheless, F45, a global chain of fitness centers, is the reason for Gilchrist’s wealth. It’s interesting to note that Adam Gilchrist is the company’s CEO and one of the richest people in the world. The CEO of F45 gained notoriety when, in 2022, he made about $500 million and listed his business on the New York Stock Exchange. He is not, though, the former Australian player. In actuality, they have absolutely nothing to do with one another. Adam Gilchrist, the cricket player, has an unknown net worth.

Gilchrist clarified it on Twitter saying that he is not the Adam Gilchrist that is mentioned in the list given by the World Index. He said that it is a case of a ‘mistaken identity’.
