Yuvraj Singh shows off his body, gets trolled by Bhajji and Rohit

India’s ousted all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been in the news after he was dropped from the Indian side for the tour to Sri Lanka. The reason for his exclusion was attributed to his failing the ‘Yo-Yo’ fitness test. But the southpaw does not seem to agree with that as he posted his topless photo on Instagram.

Although he doesn’t seem as fit as someone like Virat Kohli yet his body looks decent enough for a 35-year-old. He captioned the image as ‘Mood’. It became a topic of troll for people including his teammates Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma.

Where Bhajji compared Yuvi with Salman Khan, Rohit asked him to clarify what exactly he meant by ‘Mood’. The left-hander replied to Rohit’s question as ‘Gas payan’, which in Punjabi means gas problems.

Harbhajan and Yuvi hail from the state of Punjab and their friendship goes back to the early 2000s when they made their India debuts in the same era. There have been several stories of pranks played in the Indian team by the duo and even today, they remain the funny ones.

Tough road ahead for Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh had made a stunning comeback to the Indian ODI side earlier this year when he slammed a magnificent 150 against England in Kanpur. His game looked close to what it was during the time he was adjudged the Player of the Tournament in the 2011 ODI World Cup. Many believed that Yuvraj has returned to his vintage form and was there to stay.

But a string of low scores followed by him failing the fitness test showed him the exit from the squad. In the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, team India have shown the keenness to play KL Rahul at No.4, where Yuvraj was batting earlier. If not Rahul, Manish Pandey is also waiting in the wings to grab that slot. At this moment, the chances of Yuvraj making a comeback look bleak and we may well have seen the last of the left-hander in Indian colors.
