In today’s press conference, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was asked about the situation. Then he said, “ We can’t control the weather. There may be a thought in the back of your mind, but at the end of the day, our focus is on the cricket.” When he was asked about Glenn Maxwell’s knock, he referred to it as an ‘Incredibly Special Knock’.

Injury was a concern to the New Zealand team. Skipper himself was struggling with injury for a long time.
