Another thrilling IPL season has come to an end. Throughout the season, fans experienced some exceptional performances. But since the auction stage, the Sunrisers Hyderabad squad was spreading excitement. They kept the excitement alive within them in this tournament. After a successful season, they appeared in the IPL 2024 final against Kolkata Knight Riders.

As they are gearing up for the upcoming final clash of the tournament, former cricketer Wasim Jaffer shared some advice to SRH team. Jaffer praised the team for not sticking to a single game plan, keeping their opponents uncertain about their next move.

While talking about this, Jaffer said, “Sunrisers’ strength is that they have not played matches in one template. They keep making changes. In powerplays, they used spin in the last game. So, don’t be surprised if they play with Vijayakanth Viyaskanth or Washington Sundar”

Faith in Nitish Reddy:

In this season, Nitish Kumar Reddy was a big weapon for them. Besides the bat, with the ball, his performance was excellent. In this season, he was seen bowling and securing precious wickets. Against Delhi Capitals, he conceded 17 runs and secured 2 wickets. Jaffer thinks he can be a great option in the bowling department.

He said, “They have three left-handers, even Mayank Markande, so they will have to slightly change their strategy. Because they are left-handers, the left-arm spin might not work or Nitish Reddy might bowl 2-3 overs. Pat Cummins has the versatility to make changes.”

On Batting Department:

In this edition of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad was famous for their destructive batting lineup. Starting from Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma to Heinrich Klaasen everyone is a game changer. In between them, Rahul Tripathi and Nitish Kumar Reddy. All them are in great form and aiming for the final face-off.

While talking about this Wasim Jaffer warned the team for their dependence on the top-order batters. He said, “Klaasen’s wicket is very important in the middle overs. Sunrisers’ batting depends a lot on these three, including Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. They also have good players like Nitish Reddy and Rahul Tripathi who have performed well. But they rely heavily on those three.”

The big stage of the MA Chidambaram Stadium is all set to host the big match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both teams are all set to lock horns with each other with all the strength while eyeing the trophy.
