Virender Sehwag’s hilarious birthday wish to Ishant Sharma

Virender Sehwag has a unique style of wishing cricketers on their birthdays through his unique tweets. The latest victim of the former Indian opening batsman is India’s fast bowler Ishant Sharma.

Sehwag posted an image on Twitter where a person is making a weird face. Along with the image, he wrote, “Happy Birthday @ImIshant . Burj Khalifa ji , found out your trainer. Keep entertaining and stay blessed.”

Virender Sehwag termed Ishant as Burj Khalifa because of the height of the pacer. Ishant is 6 feet 7 inches tall, who is by far the tallest ever Indian cricketer.

Now, coming to the image. The person making the weird face is similar what Ishant once did on a cricket field. The incident happened during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year between India and Australia.

In the 2nd Test of the series at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, Australia’s skipper Steve Smith was batting on the morning of the 2nd day. Ishant ran in to bowl to the right-hander who defended a straight delivery off the pacer only to see Ishant trying to mimic his expressions.

Smith has a habit of moving his shoulder and the face a bit which Ishant tried to copy. But he went over the top and ended up doing a funny thing that was nowhere close to what Smith does. The batsman replied with his own funny expression too.

The whole scenario was hilarious. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who was standing in the slips, couldn’t control himself and burst into a huge laughter. The other close in fielders also saw the funny side of it and enjoyed the little battle.

The banter between the bowler and the batsman didn’t stop there as Ishant was continuously at Smith. A few minutes later, Smith struck a delivery down the ground and Ishant charged towards him. Smith felt the bowler would throw the ball at him and tried to go back to his crease. Those were some of the most hilarious scenes you would ever see on a cricket field.
