Consequently, he was cleared of all charges and released from custody.

Cricket Nepal has indicated plans to include Lamichhane in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, signaling his reinstatement to the national team.

The Visa Problem:

The US Embassy in Nepal recently rejected cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane’s visa application, as confirmed by Lamichhane himself via social media. Lamichhane had intended to travel to the USA and the West Indies to participate in the T20 World Cup. While other members of the Nepal team had already departed for the matches, Lamichhane faced visa denial. This isn’t the first time, as Lamichhane mentioned a previous incident where he was denied a visa for the CPL.
