These South African Players to Arrive Late for the IPL

Star South African batter and Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram is likely to miss the first match of the IPL. Along with him, his South African teammates Quinton De Kock, David Miller, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, and Sisanda Magala. They are going to be playing for South Africa and hence will miss the initial matches. They will join the team on April 3.

CSA Informed BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), according to a report in ESPNcricinfo, has been informed by Cricket South Africa (CSA) that it wants all of its best players available for the two-match home ODI series against the Netherlands, which begins in late March.

The CSA made this choice because South Africa needs to win the series against the Netherlands to automatically qualify for the 2023 World Cup, which will be played in India later this year. The Netherlands have unveiled a potent lineup for the ODIs in South Africa and the series in Zimbabwe. Both series are part of the ODI Super League, with the South Africa games scheduled on March 31 and April 2 in Benoni and Johannesburg, respectively. Both series are a part of the ODI super league.
