Team India got a Special Message from German Superstar, Ahead of the World Cup

Sports has its vibe. No sports big all small. In every sport, the fight continues for the trophy or the title. Fans differentiate football, cricket, and other sports but for the sports people, it is the same madness. ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has raised its curtain. England and New Zealand faced each other in Ahmedabad in the first match. New Zealand snatched the win from the opponent. This time, India is hosting the tournament. They will be starting their World Cup journey on October 8 against Australia. But before that, team India received a special kind of good wishes from an exceptional person.

Who is that person and what he said?

Sports is not famous for its glamour or achievements, it is known for its sportsmanship. Something has happened like this. India will start their World Cup journey on October 8 against Australia. They are preparing hard to achieve the ultimate goal. Everybody is wishing good luck. But a special good luck message caught my attention. Renowned German player, Thomas Muller wished Rohit Sharma and co. good luck ahead of the tournament. Fans were overwhelmed after watching the video.

Thomas Muller is currently a Bayern Munich player. He won the Champions League while playing for FC Bayern Munchen in 2012/13 and 2019/20. He won the Supercup in 2010, 2012,2016,2017,2018,2020,2021, and 2022 with Bayern Muller.  He also won the 2014 World Cup for Germany.

India’s scenario before the World Cup:

India will face Australia on October 8. This is going to be India’s first match in this tournament. Before the World Cup, India was in great form. They bagged the Asia Cup title with a 10-wicket victory. This was a huge win. India just grabbed the match from Sri Lanka. Mohammed Siraj bagged 6 wickets. He single-handedly destroyed the opponent in the match.

After that, India played a three-match ODI series against Australia at home. They also won the series by a 2-1 margin. In the first two matches, seniors were rested. Despite this, India bagged the series. Shubhman Gill and Shreyas Iyer scored centuries. KL Rahul played two responsible half-centuries in those two matches.

India is in a great form. But a bad news hit the team. Shubhman tested positive for dengue. He is likely to miss the first match against Australia. It was a setback for the team. But Ishan Kishan is likely to open the innings along with Rohit Sharma.
